Facilities
Camp Boomerang is situated in Port Sorell, only 15 minutes drive from the Devonport ferry terminal and airport.
Our on site facilities include:
- bunkhouses
- On-site Van
- 5 hectares of camping areas
- BBQ facilities
- community kitchen, laundry and toilet block
- TV/Lounge area
- Conference/Convention facilities
- badminton court and
- an indoor recreational room
Camp Boomerang is now able to offer FULL CATERING to prospective users esp. school groups.
Camp Boomerang is convenient to other recreational activities such as:
- Bush Walking
- Tennis
- Swimming
- Sailing
- Canoeing
- Fishing, and
- Volley Ball
We can offer organised indoor and outdoor activities on request.
Bunkhouses
There are up to 15 bunkhouses with accomodation for 80 people. 4 bunkrooms are available for backpacking, sleeping a total of 28 backpackers. Each bunkhouse has a variable number of bunks. A family bunkhouse is available which has a double bed and two connected rooms.
