Central Deborah Gold Mine offers the unique experience of exploring a real gold mine. Whether it’s touring the surface of the mine with its treasure trove of vintage mining machinery, gold panning for riches or taking one of the spectacular underground tours, visitors will never forget a stop at Central Deborah. Sixty metres underground, don a hard hat and miners lamp and walk in the footsteps of miners who discovered almost one tonne of the world’s most precious metal. For the more daring, brave a thrilling two and a half hour adventure tour climbing ladders, working mine drills and searching the quartz pieces for gold. Central Deborah is a perfect stop for lunch or a snack. The on-site café provides a range of tasty meal options – which can even be served underground!
