Over 18 years experience in running educational school camps!
Summit Educational Camps, established in 1988, is a division of The Crusader Union of Australia - a Christian youth organisation with over 75 years experience in running camps for students in years K to 12.
Summit has over 18 years experience in running educational school camps and tailors each camp to suit the requirements of the school, including a range of camping options that allow for the sequential development of skills and knowledge. They can also design a program to compliment your school's existing outdoor education program or develop one from scratch.
Summit Difference:
Our excellent ratio of one Summit leader to every ten students sets us apart from other outdoor education providers, enabling us to build strong relationships of trust with students quickly. It also means Summit leaders run every aspect of camp, leaving teachers free to join in or spend time getting to know their students better.
Location:
Most Summit Camps are held at the two Crusader owned campsites - the Galston Gorge Conference & Recreation Centre and the Lake Mac Outdoor Recreation Centre.
The Galston Gorge Centre is located only 15 minutes from Hornsby in a stunning bushland setting.
The Lake Mac Centre is 1 hour north of Hornsby, right on the shore of Lake Macquarie on NSW's Central Coast. Both these sites offer comfortable accommodation, AV equipment, meeting areas and fully cater for your group. Summit can cater for special diets.
