Our centre provides quality budget accommodation for school, church, family and tour groups.The centre provides affordable recreational accommodation for individual groups of 25 to 80 guests to use at their own leisure.

To make your stay more comfortable and secure, the centre is booked out to one group at a time.

The Grounds contain:

The centre is located on the north side of Brisbane, Queensland Australia, on 17 acres within 5 minutes of major highways giving ready access to the following destinations:

  • 20 minutes to Domestic and International Airport
  • 25 minutes to Central Brisbane
  • 30 minutes to Australia Zoo
  • 50 minutes to Sunshine Coasts
  • 1 hour to Gold Coast with less time needed to various Theme Parks.

When coming from the north our centre can be readily accessed via Anzac Ave exit off the Bruce Highway.

When coming from the south our centre can be readily accessed via Dohles Rocks Rd exit off the Bruce Highway after the Gateway Motorway merge.

The entrance is located off Narangba Rd directly after Marsden Rd.

From 1929 to the present, the management committee of Marsden Home for Boys and later The Frederick Marsden Youth Centre has honoured Mr Marsden's desire to help young people in the community and beyond.

Marsden will operate within a framework of Christian ideals and convictions to positively impact on the quality of life of children, young people and families.

Our symbol conveys the purpose and spirit of the Frederick Marsden Youth Centre. The circular shape suggests unity, shelter, and the family.  The three linked figures represent growth, team spirit and the ties of Christian Fellowship.

Improved child protection measures
The Australian Government has appointed a specialist in child protection to investigate ways to improve information sharing within and between jurisdictions as part of its National Child Protection Framework. Ms Mary Ann O'Loughlin, who has extensive experience in the reform of child protection systems, will work with the states and territories to identify existing barriers to information sharing and ways these barriers can be overcome.
