Full Comprehensive Description :
The Power of Story came about as a result of Gennies desire to develop a belief in children that each one of them has potential to achieve whatever they can see. As a result she has developed a series programs based on stories gathered from around the world in which individuals make a difference for the better, and characters discover their true worth. Because she is an excellent actress as well as a storyteller, Gennies is able make clever use of voice, mime, movement, and characterization so that students are drawn into her performances. Gennie also involves her audiences in creative participation through game segments in which she improvises on ideas suggested by the audience. More ideas for storytelling games are listed in the teachers notes which are designed to stimulate the imagination and develop skills in both writing and speaking.
