Literacyland School Camps

Literacyland is a five acre riverfront of absolute tranquillity right in the heart of Kangaroo Valley. It is surrounded by lush rainforest, adventure playgrounds and history. A beautiful spacious residence, where every bedroom is named after a famous Australian poet, the homestead will delight the visitor from Australia or overseas.

Attendees at a Literacyland school camp or adult camp will participate in a programme designed to addess specific requirements. The intensive English literacy component is 3 hours daily followed by a fantastic range of fun and educationally based activities.

Literacyland invites participants who are native English speakers and those who are not speakers of English to attend. Be assured that no matter where you come from, at Literacyland you will combine enhanced English skills with unforgettable memories.

Literacyland is a special place. It provides an English language experience designed to address a spectrum of literacy based skills via school camps and ESL adult camps and is set in world famous beautiful Kangaroo Valley.

The small town has several arts and craft, antique and souvenir shops, galleries, restaurants and cafes, a hotel, bowling club, post office, bakery, grocery store and the famous "lolly shop".  The Valley also boasts a lovely golf course, museum and swimming pool. All these features are surrounded by beautiful mountains where the magnificent starry nights are enhanced by the native wildlife and the rushing river.

Within this beauty, Literacyland camps offer specially designed literacy based programmes combined with fun, relaxation and adventure. For the overseas student, the camp will provide an Australian discovery second to none: immersion in the English language and lessons by qualified teachers, outdoor activities which take advantage of Australia's space and climate, and caring and supportive staff dedicated to ensuring a memorable experience for every student.
