Mowbray Park school camps are great fun ! Lots of activities, great food.

School Camps Adventure, Recreation and Learning. With wonderful facilities, accommodation and high quality meals its no wonder many schools visit year after year.

Mowbray Park is an historic country property situated in the foothills of the Southern Highlands just 1 1/2 hrs from Sydney CBD, we are ideally located in a friendly rural atmosphere surrounded by rolling hills and farmland. The property has been developed into a superb Retreat and School Camp Centre catering for School Camps,Clubs and International groups for over 30 years. We have a large range of activities and facilities available and combined with our experienced staff we are able to offer you a professional, successful and rewarding School Camp.

School Camp Activities are flexible you may run your own or select a combination of the following and let our experienced staff take care of your group (extra costs apply to selected activities see tariff page for details):

  • Fully supervised activities program (organised in groups and rotated through activities) and includes a selection of the following.
  • Farm activities - Viewing & feeding farm animals, Hayrides, cow milking, animal nursery
  • Shearing & Sheep Dog Working Demonstration
  • Pony rides (for Primary students)
  • Canoeing
  • Boomerang Throwing & Whip Cracking
  • Campfire with Billy Tea & Damper
  • Archery
  • Volley Ball
  • Bush Walking
  • Tennis
  • Soccer & Rugby
  • Horse Riding  (8 yrs and above only)
  • Adventure, Initiative & Trust Activities  (max 15 per group)
  • Aussie Bushdance

Other facilities include: Archery, Tennis, Swimming Pool, Volley ball,  Bushwalking, Sports field. We can also arrange off farm tours to local Dairies, Orchards and Vegetable farms.

Modern accommodation for Up to 155 people in five country style lodges, and our conference hall has a capacity of 100, with white board,  projector screen (lap top compatable) video/DVD player. In most lodges teachers have separate ensuite rooms.

Completed Risk Management Assessment Sheets relating to all activities are available on request. All relevant staff have clearance for working with children.
