Bring your critters to see ours

With the world’s largest variety of all-Australian animals under the one roof in an unparalleled world-class environment, Sydney Aquarium and Sydney Wildlife World offer an unbeatable opportunity to surprise, amaze, thrill and educate your students.  Both venues are all-weather so your students can enjoy their learning experience rain or shine!
A wide range of curriculum-based educational kits are available with background information and student worksheets for K-2, 3-6 and 7-12 including Science, Maths, Geography & HSIE.


Sydney Wildlife World

At Sydney Wildlife World your students can discover an authentic all-Australian wildlife experience in the heart of Darling Harbour. Get up close to iconic kangaroos, cuddly koalas, colourful butterflies and vivid birds in our remarkable walk-through habitats! Enter the exhibits

The new walk-through tracks at Sydney Wildlife World allow your students to enter the semi-arid grasslands exhibit and the bird aviary, to immerse themselves in the homes of the red kangaroos and birdlife. Pat a kangaroo or wallaby, and stroll through the treetops of Flight Canyon with vivid birds flying above and around you. Or enter the hot and humid tropical rainforest habitat to experience the magic of our Butterfly House where the bright fluttering creatures can land on you for an amazing personal encounter.


Fun learning with interactive touchscreens

Students can enjoy a truly interactive experience at Sydney Wildlife World. Immerse yourself in the walk-through habitats then stop at the new bank of computer screens where students can investigate the species on display and play the Conservation Game, which reveals the threats to native wildlife and what they can do to help.


Encounter endangered species

Sydney Wildlife World exhibits a number of endangered species including the bilby, the yellow footed wallaby, the bridled nail tail wallaby, the cassowary and the gouldian finch. We’re  working in partnership with the Australian Wildlife Conservancy to halt the decline of many of our native animals.
